Lena Pillars is a forty-kilometer series of steep cliffs stretching along the right bank of the Lena River. It is located two hundred kilometers downstream from the city of Yakutsk and about one hundred kilometers away from the city of Pokrovsk. The length of the rocks is more than forty kilometers. Today it is a natural reserve of Yakutia. The 40-100 meter high rocks become more and more beautiful and mysterious each year due to local climatic conditions. The view of the Pillars is especially spectacular at sunset and sunrise: from a distance the mountain range with its outlines resembles an ancient castle or a magic palace, and the river at the foot serves as a mirror, making the pillars twice as large and majestic.
Comfortable three-deck cruise liners (the Austrian design model Q065) allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Lena River and its environs. The cruise liner standards and conditions meet all the international requirements of quality and comfort. We offer you both short 36 or 46-hour weekly cruises to Lena Pillars, as well as longer motor ship routes with visits to several cities along the route.
Most Popular Tours include: - Cruise to Lena Pillars 36 hours (Mon-Sat, Wed-Fri) - Cruise to Lena Pillars 46 hours (Fri-Sun) - Arctic Cruise to the Arctic Circle to Tiksi Village (14 days) - Cruise to Mirny Town, the diamond capital of Yakutia, on the route from Yakutsk to Sottintsy (the founding place of Yakutsk) to Lena Pillars return to Mirny. - The most beautiful cruise “Ust-Kut - Yakutsk” passes through the most picturesque places of Yakutia and ends in the Irkutsk Region, where you can extend your trip to Lake Baikal.
